damn, been over a year since we've bashed.

gotta get them going again, and probably put up my unused Revo 3.3 for sale.

Mine have been sitting on the shelf for a while. Thought about it last night and checked the batteries. Just nasty outside.

Another reason to get a quadcopter :)

I’ve had a Traxxas Aton for a while. No cameras or FPV but it’s a hoot to fly and tough as nails.

I have 3 quadcopters. One for pictures, one for outdoor play and FPV, and one for indoor play and FPV.

Quads are way more fun with goggles.

Yep, goggles are cool. I have a set of fat sharks that I used with my phantom before I lost it scouting for hogs. What I want is a DJI Inspire.

I use to race Associated RC10 off road back in 84-86 and was off road state champ in 85. Sold it all off when I got out of college. I started racing 12th scale carpet road coarse and came in 2nd in the state championship after winning every heat up until the finals. Only picture of the car I have left.

    carpet road coarse? Lol

You had fun and those are great pictures and have the memories to boot.

Often memories are the best part of life . . no BS implied.

The only races around here are mini sprints in Waco. The stupid little car is 200 bucks and they race on a short indoor oval. Cars are around 1/16th scale, maybe a little smaller.

I’d rather race a road course unless it’s something like the large dirt ovals I’ve seen Rustlers and similar trucks run on.

I ran 1/4 scale WCM cars back in its heyday. Big Nationals events. 10K purses. I was also working at WCM at the time (which really helped and I was involved in the traveling). Ralphie Burch was our factory sponsored driver at the time and he also worked at the factory.
