What are some good ranges in the greater Houston area for long range shooting? Wanting to get into some newer stuff while visiting my father. Any reccomendations?

What do you consider "long range?"

American Shooting Center has; 100, 200, 300, 400 and 600yds. Have to qualify at 300yds to shoot 400/600yds. Single target, 5-shots inside a 6" target.

Blackwood Gun Club has single shooting lanes and berms at; 25, 50, 100 and 200yds.

Trinity Armory has single shooting lanes and berms at; 25, 50, 100 and 300yds. From 150 to 300yds steel at various distances. They now have two pieces of steel at 400 or 450yds. Have to qualify at 300yds. Believe it was 5 shots within a 5" target.

The Ranch is a private membership and has various ranges and various distances up to 1500yds I believe. Google is you friend on more info about The Ranch.

Trinity Firearms is a great choice for long range shooting and Blackwood is a second choice. Don't waste your time with Thunder unless you want to deal with weirdness and rude service.
