Took my newly minted cheap AR-10 to the range! bore sighted and somewhat ready for 100 yards.

PSA lower, Odinworks 24" upper in 6.5 Creedmoor, sightron S-TAC scope.

I had never fired Creedmore, almost no recoil!

had a blast! my arms are no MOA :)

I have been shooting 308 for 40+ years, and 6.5 creedmoor for about a year... still can't believe how little recoil the 6.5 has, and, conversely, how harsh 308 is.

Since I started shooting creedmoor I've only used 308 for heavy metal matches. Literally, only, and I think I'm going to stop even that. I'll keep the 308s, including the ammo, brass and bullets, forever, but I think they're all going into the back of the keeper safe.

took my 22's out to "shoot point blank" for practice. both started out as ruger 10-22's, both have red dots. upper one has a slide fire "chassis" but no "bump" any more, thanks to (expletive deleted ). lower bullpup style from high tower armory with a after market match grade barrel. easy to shoot groups with a red dot. one is 20 shots and one is 30 shots at 15 yds. coin is a quarter. 100_0125.JPG 100_0122.JPG

nice collection !! looks like you had a GOOD day ! i'm jealous of that luger ! do not recognize that bad boy on the far right, need more info on that beauty
    Thanks.
That is a S&W Victory (.22lr) with a Volquartsen barrel and a Dead Air Mask.

    Lots of fun.

Let a couple of people fire it at the range today, including a guy and his female companion shooting for her first time. He had her shooting a Sig in .45 and shots going all over the place, let her shoot the Victory and she hit the metal target 7 out of 10 times including the first 3 shots.

I thought that .308/7.62 was a pretty good kick until I bought a SCAR 17. It is the most amazingly light recoil. Part muzzle brake, part design.

Personally, I LOVE HK91’s. Still can not afford one, but the PTR-91 is darn close. It is amazing how much more enjoyable it is to shoot with a decent muzzle brake.

I don’t have any true AR10 rifles, but if you can put up with the downsides of a muzzle brake, I recommend one.
