    I loved watching Davy Crockett when I was younger. I would rewind and watch it again. Even had a long rifle like his. (well, long for a play toy for kid that age) lol

    Davy Crockett on Disney defined my early childhood...anyone remember that Buddy Ebsen (Jed Clampett) played Davy's trusty sidekick, Georgie Russell? Guess I'm telling my age now...Anyway, Rest In Peace, Fess Parker!!

    I still have my coon skin cap and a fox skin with Davy Crockett on it. I can't believe I actually wore that hat! It's made of vinyl with a trim of fur and a tail. OMG....it's so embarrassing! I still remember the Davy Crockett theme song.
