As far as I know there are no prohibitions on the sale or use of tracer ammo in Texas.
Just remember that they can start fires a long way from where they are fired unless it is into a solid berm.

Tracers are not illegal in Tx by any means. But don't expect a great show from them if youre shooting at something less than 200 yards away. You'll never see them.

I don't know of any ranges that allow them.
