I got a red banner across the bottom of my browser to allow PUSH NOTIFICATIONS.

I don't want to be PUSHED into anything at all!!!!!!!!!
I looked into the meaning and something about an APP.
I have a desktop PC and I don't want any APPs to get pushed into any notifications so I 'clicked' the X.
Then I get a bigger banner suggesting that I accept the offer. (recommending that I will be better off getting notified)

    I DECLINED.

First I find out I am being followed on this forum and now I am being persuaded into getting PUSHED.

It is getting a little 'crowded'.

Some people (not me) want to be notified if someone tags them in a post or replies to their post, or a thread they are following. For example I always get notified of posts to the reloading thread and the good gun deals thread. The little bell turns red when you get notified if you are on the board. But if you are not on the board, the notifications would alert you that someone replied to a thread you follow.

My little bell lights up when someone replies to any thread I'm following.

I like it because I can click on the bell and see who said what and if I want to, I can then click on the replied thread and view who said what.
