Anyone know of a good sporting clays range near Beaumont that is open to the public? 1 in 100 gun club is close, but they are a private range and membership is more than we want to spend at the moment ($500 initiation and $92 a quarter). My wife and I shot our first round saturday for a fund raiser and loved it, so now we are looking for somewhere we can go. I could handle the $92 a quarter, but the $500 initiation makes it not worth it. Any ideas on a giod place to go that is within driving distance from Beaumont?

Yea, i didnt see that at first. They sent me an email about it this morn. I also found a place in liberty (a little over an hr drive) that is open to the public. Just gotta weigh my options and check out the place in liberty.

They have sporting clays. The Vice President and Grounds Keeper would be the ones to talk to. I've considered picking up the hobby.
