Travis County DA needs to be disbarred for prosecutorial abuse for even seeking an indictment in this case, let alone taking it to trial!
Foster was a radical socialist rioter. They get special rights.
Unfortunately, the Rittenhouse trial proved this.

I'm less worried about qualified immunity for LEOs than I am about sovereign immunity for judges & prosecutors. That crap needs to be ended with a quickness.....

I think the best the Sgt. can hope for is a full pardon from Governor Abbott because his odds in a Travis County are pretty slim.

If Governor Abbott does not already have a pardon waiting to be signed I will be disappointed.

His best bet would be a change of venue. To a less loony county. Probably won't happen though.

There's plenty of conservative counties left in Texas, and plenty that are at least sane. Austin has become the Berkeley of the south, with no signs of stopping. But Tarrant County (Ft Worth) is still conservative, and there are plenty of smaller counties that still have the infrastructure to host a trial like this, where a reasonably jury pool could be selected.

    I certainly hope so.........

The county in which I reside?

Couple years ago? The "blm/antifa" jack wagons sent a couple bus loads to the county seat.

Sheriff? He deputized all that wanted. All the shop owners, with rifles/shotguns stood behind the Sheriff.

Sheriff told the busloads of rioters to, "Get on back where the come from."

    No rioting/looting here.

    No "blamestream" coverage..(imagine that).....

Now? The "party machine" (both R&D slime balls) want to get rid of Sheriff......(both R&D are behind the current "unrest"...they cause it...want us to vote "them" in...to fix it?)

Last time I was called for Jury Duty? (some thug what robbed & beat up an old lady?) His lawyer come & looked at us, the Jury Pool, (we all was a scowling at him) advised the perp to plead guilty.....

Hopefully the sheriff can get the community support he needs to fend off the RINO betrayal.
