    The pardon should be fairly quick as opposed to a decade or so going through the system. He could be eligible for parole before it goes through the courts
    Yes, but a pardon is only like a 99% dismissal of the crime while getting it overturned on appeal is 100% free

    True, but cost vs benefit. Spending 10 years or so in Huntsville until it is overturned vs sitting on your porch……….

    The judge, DA and jury should be brought up on official oppression charges... that case was textbook SD
