    Is this deformation in general or when exposed to extreme elements? I ask because I noticed one of my mags was a little hard to seat and have never experienced this with other mags.

    Plastic will creep some under load (but really not much) under all conditions. Obviously heat adds to the effect.

    For my ARs, I like both PMags and USGI ones for different reasons. The only mags I've had fail are some C-Product ones maybe a dozen years ago. Bad feed lips, perhaps damaged from dropping. I still have a bunch new in bags, but I use Okay USGI 30 rd ones now. And of course M3 Pmags.
