I don't know about rut, but every deer I shot in the neck was DRT.

I admit to not shooting anywhere near the amount of deer that Hoji has.
I haven't been deer hunting in over 40 years.

The right place to shoot a deer allowed it to walk 50 feet?

Apparently stuff only falls when shot on tv or in the movies. 50 ft is only 16 yards. You can stumble that far with no blood flow.

I was still killing deer for the CoA one morning during the rut and I had dropped 4 does. Freezing cold and I was about to get out of the stand when this retarded looking spike came out. I honestly did not feel like killing him as it was cold and I already had 4 on the ground to field dress.

Then this little tard goes and starts humping one of the dead does on the ground. I mean he is going to town like a machine.

I am pretty open minded but necrophilia is one of those lines I will not tolerate so I shot him. Right through the heart.
Pervert ran almost 600 yards spraying so much blood for the first 100 yards it looked like someone ran it through a hose.

You can also do a JFK shot and they will not take a step,
But most folks are not a good enough shot for either a neck or head shot.

I agree, but I tend to go higher up the neck. A clean kill or a clean miss. I have not had to trail a wounded deer in a very long time.

Not alway a clean miss. Another hunter did this and I spent a week looking for this guy to finish him off.
