I've given serious thought to acquiring a Browning hard case for the SA-22. Is there anything stopping the forend/barrel from sliding back and marring the buttstock? Last time I checked the cases were going for $180+ and I couldn't pull the trigger.

The first 22 rifle I ever shot was my father's Browining SA-22. Took many a squirrel with that rifle. Learned to shoot on the very same rifle when I was youngster.

Had the opportunity about a month ago to clean Dad's rifle up for him and do some shooting with it. It was as much fun as I remembered!

You did an awesome job on that one. It turned out gorgeous. You DIL is going to be overjoyed with that rifle. And the case compliments it very well.

Decent looking case......has a Browning brass tag on the front......and brass locking latches...

It took me a couple of minutes to figure it out, but yes the barrel and stock positions have stops built in to keep them from moving back and forth or rubbing together........

I am tempted to buy another for my rifles.....

and yes, it was $200..00 with S/H...........
