I saw that there’s a brass exchange up top, but would there be any interest in casting a wider net when it comes to swapping other reloading components? Or would the mods prefer we keep that sort of thing over in the classifieds?

Is "swap" different from "want to trade" in the classifieds area, which requires 25 posts, or membership?

Actually, no. Two things -

• There were a number of swap threads that dated way back before the rules regarding classifieds were enforced. I don't know how this one got here but it's been overlooked until now.
• The rules against doing business outside the Classifieds have always been enforced when people try to make money. Trades weren't viewed as a big deal.

You're right, though; doing things that way is inconsistent moderation.

I'll bring it up with the other mods.

A few of us have talked. Nothing's engraved in stone but, as for me, if I see a new thread proposing to do swaps, I'll move it to the Classifieds.

I encourage anyone to hit the report button when you see a new thread of this type.
