    If you can flex your times a bit, look out 130 to Hutto-ish. The 130 commute to the backside of downtown won't be to horrible unless you have to do rush hour. There are still a few spots to get 1-3 acres (or more) if you want, but the growth is coming quick.

    Plus you would not be too far from Austin Rifle Club (ARC).

    Really appreciate the advice everyone. We even took a drive through Austin this weekend. Housing for what we want is definitely more expensive. Cedar Park or Leander would have been our choice. Round Rock didn't actually appeal to us the way I thought it would have.

    Alas we decided we don't want to move now. It could happen in the future but for now we are staying put.

    Just to close the loop on this, we decided to stay put for now. It's not out of the question in the future.

    Still in the process though.
