I’m thinking about building a portable reloading bench to bring to the reunion. It’d be set up for 9mm, BYO components.

    Thoughts?
I've been putting together something similar, sized to fit in a Husky plastic toolbox (built for load dev & precision, not volume). Personally, I think the "mobile" loading station idea is just badass in general...

Visit a benchrest rifle match, then, to be surrounded by badassery.
Yeah, haven't had the opportunity yet, but have seen some awesome setup pics.

Aside from just admiring the ingenuity demonstrated by folks approaching the same concept from different perspectives, I think it's great to see things which may not have ever occured to you otherwise, and be able to incorporate those concepts where appropriate into your own use cases & approach...

This would be based on a B&D work mate bench topped with an RL550.
Nice, should give you both portablility & good production volume.

My portable setup is using an RCBS Summit w/ long & short handles, various small-tools, etc.

Could probably get it packed down much tighter with a little effort, but the 'toolbox' profile works for now (with the exception being that the labradar won't fit in the box with it).

Now with two confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Lubbock, it's getting closer to my area. Who knows what situations will be on the 13th of next month? I'm still planning on it, we'll see as it gets closer.
