STARTING to cave?!? With Manchin (and let's face it, pretty much everybody in Washington) it's all about the $$$. If your vote becomes critical, you can cut deals and line the pockets of you and your buddies for decades. And if you can CLAIM that you made them take a few billion out of that dumpster of pork, you can convince a few voters that you are actually a hero.
