I remember that story. At the time, I could not fathom how a restaurant manager could so blatantly deceive the staff and think that their actions were funny. That's a real sociopath-leaning mindset on the part of the manager and I'm sure it completely killed staff morale at that location. I'm glad Hooters was made to pay up. Maybe some higher-up folks learned the lesson that hiring complete dicks to manage people isn't a good idea.
