I noted a recent re-post on another thread warning of how mentally ill some domestic leftists have become, even with direct threats of violence to conservative candidates.

I was an only child for over a decade, my Intelligence Officer Dad had missed my early childhood as he was way at war. Dad took me everywhere with him once back home. I vaguely recall many ‘’war stories’’ during that era, which I took as his decompressing from the strains of war.

I repeatedly listened to details of how he & his MI5 associates would have NAZI Luftwaffe Intelligence Officer PoW‘s believing absolute absurdities by manipulating everything they saw & heard for months on-end. Being a little kid, and seeing no relation to my life, I just listened. This is what was later termed ‘’brainwashing’’ by the mid-1950’s. Some of this stuck with me despite my then disinterest.

My Uncles had been on USN warships in the Pacific & had much more interesting tales of subs, torpedos, & Kamikazes.

We all were democrats, as were all of my Friends’ families. Parties seemed of little difference. Folks voted by platform & personality.

After Truman & JFK, the democrats took a dark turn; the tyrannies of LBJ, incompetence of Carter, the amoral Clintons; the party kept sinking. Obama, slick as he was, was an internal enemy, or a Manchurian candidate in real life.

We now see permanently deluded U S Citizens, untreatably mesmerized by decades of political lies via TV & radio leftists. This is scary.

A few years back a young Family member, a highly-educated, traveled, & respected Texas Surgeon, wrote a very erroneous piece on the evils of Rush Limbaugh.

As I explained to him that I could prove every claim in his diatribe to be factually false; his studied response was: ‘’I am a liberal; you must understand that I believe what I want to believe. It doesn’t matter a bit that you can prove my beliefs false; I’m going to continue to believe them, because they are WHAT I WANT TO BELIEVE!’’

Now I wonder how many other citizens are so mentally disabled ?

I have friends who still believe Obama is the antichrist. I'd like to laugh that off, but they point out that he has an "aura" that makes it so that most people can't see what he's really doing. People who have tried to do biographies say that everything about the guy is a lie. Many believe he's still behind the decisions made in today's White House - largely because Biden's dementia is so obvious that he can't possibly be running anything.

I think that if we've learned anything in the past few years, it is that the government has lied to us about just almost everything. For at least 70 years they told us UFOs don't exist. Now they admit that they do, but they won't say what they know about them. The controversy over the JFK assassination is well known, but RFK Jr. openly discusses that his father's assassination was not done by Sirhan Sirhan. (Every bullet from his gun is accounted for in the places they lodged in the walls.) Judge Joe Brown has openly discussed that when he was a "real" judge, the evidence was presented to him that showed that MLK was not killed by James Earl Ray. (Ray was never actually tried. He took an Alfred plea to avoid the death penalty. His defense team presented the evidence for a new trial, but Ray died of cancer before it could be granted.) How does an old drunk like Nancy Pelosi amass $200+ million on a $175k salary? Without corruption?? Trump promised to "drain the swamp", but he never realized how broad and deep that swamp really is.

I've long said that the difference between the libs and conservatives is the difference between feelings and facts. That's the reason the press is so liberal; they are used to dealing with feelings. Feelings sell cigarettes and cars and perfume. Facts are boring. Hollywood is also about feelings. Reality is boring compared to CGI exploding aliens. Liberals are happy in their feelings. Hating Trump makes them feel good. They have a "demon" to oppose. When one of them accuses him of being a racist, simply ask for facts to back that up and watch them spin into madness.

I was at a party years ago and someone mentioned something they heard on Rush Limbaugh. One woman - a teacher - said she would never believe anything from that fat liar. I asked her how many of his broadcasts she had listened to in order to reach that conclusion. "I would never listen to that man!" Well, I said, how could you know what he's saying that's so wrong if you've never heard him? She screamed, "I just know!" My wife (now -ex) was also a teacher and more or less shoved me out of the room before I could continue. And I would have continued, because it was fun to play with someone who was that stupid. I ran into that woman's husband a few years later and he told me that they were divorced because it turned out she was using an amazing amount of cocaine and screwing several guys in order to continue to get it after she spent every nickel they had.

I'm a naturalized citizen as is my sister. My mother is Chilean-born and raised. We lived in Brazil for 3 years while waiting for paperwork to go through so that my father could move us to the States. My grandmother, also Chilean, came to the States years later with the intent to stay but as days went by she was so scared that Pinochet would come and take her back then put her in prison. The family tried to get her to understand that it couldn't happen but she was too far gone - had lived in that type of fear for years and there was no changing her mind. Foreigners know what America has to offer and when they come here legally, go through all the steps and process to earn citizenship, they truly embrace the ideals and freedoms we all take advantage of on a daily basis.

My mother, sister, and I look at what many native citizens say when it comes to their love of socialism, communism, Marxism... and we are confounded as to why Americans would see these things as improvements. It's astounding to see whole states/counties/cities taken over by these dangerous ideologies and to see elected leaders outright turn their noses up at the sight of a flag flying outside a building or house. Crazy to me that people feel like they should burn our flag, allow dangerous drugs and people enter this country illegally, and defame statues and memorials paying tribute to the history of this nation. We spare no chance at letting people know where we stand when it comes to upholding the laws and customs of this land, but wish there were more native citizens who would do the same.

The reason is all of these supposed lovers of communism are a bunch of soft kids who love the freedom they have, but don't appreciate it and think it's everywhere and have absolutely zero idea what living under communism is like. They've been convinced by real communists that the US is evil and communism is the way out to their equity utopia. The biggest lie known to mankind.

Any professed communist living in the US should have to serve an internship in Havana, Pyongyang, Bejing, or Caracas so they can see what it's really like. Then if you're still on the Stalin train, more power to you.

I've known people like you in my life. My high school Spanish teacher escaped from Cuba during the revolution in 1959 along with some of her family, at least those the communists didn't kill. They lost everything. Yet she appreciated the USA and its freedoms far more than the students she taught, who just took it all for granted.

I've met other foreigners during various events I've attended and organized (local rallies, speaking engagements, petition signings). Vietnamese, other South Americans, and Latinos - all with similar strong sentiment. Americans need to know that the media's portrayal of minorities' allegiance to the Democrat doctrine is weakening. Some of the most ardent supporters of capitalism and freedom I've met are in the Vietnamese community. They absolutely love Trump. I, myself, am Chinese and S American Hispanic. The truth is, the people doing the most damage to this country are liberal Caucasians.
