Sadly yes, it is up to the executive branch's DOJ to enforce the laws, which makes open defiance painless given the current administration.

Normally I'd say there's no will for that, but this time I think there is. I'm seeing increasing number of comments like "just put a stock on it" in response to someone showing off a pistol brace build or people showing off their "pistols" with something covering the buffer tube so you have no idea what's on there. Things could get interesting.

There is that, but I think most of the non compliance with be just from ignorance. The vast majority of people that have guns don't follow every nuance of AFTs (biden is a potato) back and forth bullshit. The average person thinks that is they buy something from a mainstream legal store it is legal and will stay legal.

The vast majority of braced pistol owners will all of the sudden by made felons without their knowledge.

Our .gov is flat out evil.
