    Cool. Once again, whereabouts?
I've heard they're out here from several people. Never saw one myself.

We were on a service call in Baytown, and he was in the tree next door. The poor lady there said he had just snatched up one of their puppy's.

Not intending to be cold but I'll bet most of us around here like a nice tender cut of beef, why wouldn't a bird of prey enjoy fresh, tender vittles. If there's an eagle around I'm sure it's owl and maybe hawk territory as well. Shouldn't she know that? Not a fair question. Wouldn't an alert person know that? I wouldn't care for it if it was my pup but objectively, the eagle was simply acting on instinct.

Garth Rd? I-10? Goose Creek? I guess more descriptive, sparsely or densely populated area? Just curious. I wouldn't be surprised if you saw him out Anahuac way but Baytown is a little surprising to me.

Actually it was in Highlands. I would have never thought they would be in a neighbor hood, but there he was.
Theres lots of hawks, not so many owls, but seeing a bald eagle, well thats just cool. We do have a few ospreys along the water, but it cant compare.

    Helotes!
Nice pic! I saw one up in Alaska earlier this year, it was very impressive. I've never seen one here in Texas though...
