Shot this mutant before cell phone cameras, but he most definitely needed to be removed from the gene pool

Had a coupe of project close to Alpine Tx. Concrete pant owners Son would guide during Deer season. I don’t have any pics ,but they have some wild atypical genes down there. Producing some huge weird racks.

He was beat up pretty bad when I killed him, but the biggest issue is that I used a buddy who was just getting started in taxidermy. He did alright on a buck like that, but I wouldn’t let him touch one of the bucks from my place in Oklahoma.

    Those are nice.

I meant, if there was any confusion, that the deer looked 4 or 5 years old and polluted the gene pool for too long.

I don’t have a pic of it, but the most defective buck I have ever taken was a spike buck that we named unihorn.

It was a 3-4 year old that had one antler growing right out the center of its head. I was watching it and when it jumped on a doe trying to breed it I shot it off her back. I didn’t want that retard in the gene pool no more.

My buddy took the antler and made me a ink pen outta it.
