With the Black Friday discounts my 9mm plinking reloads just snuck under $6 a box (inc. tax):

9mm xtreme 115gr RN, Winchester small pistol, Ramshot True Blue/Zip/Silhouette (depending on whats left), ~1100FPS ~125PF
Per box: $5.94

Per round 11.9 cents, 6.68 bullet, 2.98 primer, 2.23 powder

More than happy with that, without casting I don't think I can get under $5.

How much does a box of your favorite loads set you back?

I'm a hair over that with my last round of purchasing, just under $0.13 a pop. I picked up some more components but I didn't keep track of every penny, but it'll come down slightly averaged out. (115gr. 9mm that is)

WalMart dropped the price of Perfecta 9mm to under $10/Box.

Yesterday I shot 50 rounds in a VP9. That is some good ammo, and I would be hard pressed to replicate it on my reloading bench.

Be well.

I'm about $7.50 or just a hair under on 9mm for 50

doing better on 45 ACP from some pulled bullets I bought a long time back from RMR.
puts me about $16 per 100

I too have put up my Lee Drip o Matic and my lead supply. I won't cast any now unless I have to, but I have it there if needed

I messed up my black friday .45 order & got 200gr rather than 230gr. But the old (non black friday) 230's were:

.45 xtreme 230gr RN, Winchester large pistol, Ramshot True Blue/Zip/Silhouette (depending on whats left), ~750FPS ~172PF
Per box: $9.04

Per round 18.09 cents, 11.91 bullet, 3.63 primer, 2.55 powder

The .200gn were 9.38 cents, if I ignore powder charge differences that's ~15.56 cents per round, or $7.78 per box.

I'm sitting at around the same for my 9mm reloads. Using precision delta, rainier or berrys, my total CPR is 12, maybe 13 cents. That drops under $5/50 if I load up 125gr LRN bullets I have on hand. I'm using titegroup and basically spend about a cent per round on powder.

My AR range loads are closer to $4/20 or 20 CPR. Using hornady or similar milspec 55gr pills.

Of course, you throw it all out the window if you factor in labor time and attach a value to spent brass.

What powder are you using @1.38 cents?

I *think* the Ramshot ZIP may work out better than the 2.23 cents I estimated (I assumed a 5.6gr load (ie. #1250/lb) based on my True Blue loads, but it'll probably be in the 4's ~1.6 cents).

I'll probably stick with the Ramshot (I like the way it meters), but I'm still curious.

Last but not least .38 special

.38 xtreme 125gr RN, Winchester small pistol, Ramshot True Blue/Zip/Silhouette (depending on whats left), ~800FPS
Per box: $6.40

Per round 12.8 cents, 7.86 bullet, 2.98 primer, 1.95 powder

That's all I currently load for, summary (nb. post-tax):
.45 230gr, $9.04/18.1c
.45 200gr, $7.78/15.6c
.38 125gr, $6.40/12.8c
9mm 115gr, $5.94/11.9c

Titegroup. $20.95 at Academy, 4.4 grains 20.95*1.0825*4.4/7000 = $.014

7 cents for cast in pistol, 15-20 cents for rifle. $20 for range fee so I shoot a lot when I go. Prices are about the same but availability is much better now.
