Have not finished the bleaching/peroxide work yet, but it is looking ok. Not a great deer antler wise, but it is the first one I got at my FIL’s place in 20 years of hunting there. Will dig lower jaw out and age him later. He weighed about 180.

That came out nice. My first attempt was laborious, as I boiled the skull and used a pressure washer to clean all the "matter". I did use 40% peroxide gel to whiten the skull (asked a friend that is a taxidermist what to use) and then wrapped with saran wrap and left in the sun. This bleached it really good (just need to not get it on the antlers - wrap them first).
Can't wait to see the finished work.
