As of now I’m waiting for my LTC to be mailed. I currently have a Sig P320 compact 9mm that is suppose to be my carry handgun. As of lately I’ve been thinking about getting something smaller and lighter to carry. I’ve never owned or shot a Glock or the P365, but I’m wanting something that I can rely on in a bad situation. Any and all suggestions are welcomed?

I've got all 3 of them. I use the P365 most of the time for carry.

    P365. You won't regret it.

I've got well over 1500 rounds through mine so far, zero issues or problems.

I’ve had all 3, I sold the Glock 43, and the 365 is my daily carry.

365 is a good gun all they around. Do not like the way it fits my hand. 43 is fine but the 43X fits my hand and is more natural for me to point. My other carry is a 19X so I am used to Glocks. for smaller / lighter I went with the 43X. ALSO there is an aftermarket firm that is about to release a 15 round flush fit mag for the 43X. That is a game changer for me. It comes down to what fits you better. ALSO I shot the 320 carry and just did not get used to the Sig. Great gun. Just did not feel right to me. That is when I went with the 19X.

Ones as good as the other. That said I hate sigs, dont like the high bore axis so I dont mess with them. I carry only glocks. Many cant tell the difference so YMMV.

    Personal preference.

I love my 43. It’s the perfect fit for me and shoots well. I am just not a fan of sigs. Either you like them or hate them. Try both and see which one you like

But never rely on a gun. Train, Learn and practice your malfunction drills and rely on them and consider your gun a tool that may fail at the worst possible time.

P365 fits in my front pocket even with the larger mag in a pocket sleeve. I go between it and the P938 up front, sometimes a XD 45 acp. all about the same size.

Feel and the way a gun naturally -or with training- points, and how it runs for an individual is probably more important than anything else.

If it don't feel right, then it ain't.

I've carried a Glock 26 w extended mag for years. Its a pocket gun for me. The 365 is a bit smaller and could probably be carried the same way.
