Easy now, I love looking at purdy $1300 kimbers but I couldnt carry that. Im not to a point in my life yet where I can have a safe full of guns. I SAY YET! Im looking for something practical and resilient to dirt, a beating, my body sweat, and texas weather. If I scratched a gold cup trophy match I couldnt sleep right for a week.
I hear ya! Believe me - been there, done that - an' got the t-shirts in a WIDE variety of colors an' sizes!
If I was startin' out, it'd likely be with a Ruger SS wheelgun - mebbe a S&W if the deal was right. Another one that's often overlooked is the old Dan Wesson revolvers with interchangeable barrels.

There's a ton of 'em there. Haven't dealt w/any of 'em, so I don't have any suggestions....when you have 8-10 untouched lowers in the safe, ya ain't lookin'.....<G>
Alex sometimes goes to the shows but he never gets a table. Contact him to see if he'll be at this one.
