Correct... The less I have to take off my SRO & re-zero it, the better.
don't see the rule in effect now. I imagine most instructors are not aware of this change. I called two last night and neither knew and both were surprised that it wasn't there. One instructor (my father) actually checked the Administrative Code too last night.
If any other instructors here can check and see if perhaps they moved the rule to a different section please let us know.
One would think this would have been included in the updates that instructors received.......I will call DPS next week to verify........
Call three times and get three different answers. Lol.
Have you had a chance to look in the Admin code yet? The entire section where it used to is missing, but it could be elsewhere now. I am interested in your research
What he said.
We need a definitive answer one way or the other, I don't care which.....but I won't change until I know 100%.......
I read the Admin code and re-read every darn rule, but didn't find it either..........
Unless someone can point to the prohibition, I am going to conclude it was removed and is no longer prohibited.
The prohibition is stated on figure 37 TAC 6.14(a), as an addendum to rule 6.14
