Stabbed? Yowza. Went hog hunting in Oahu years ago with some crazy Philippino kids that essentially tied big knives to the end of sticks with the intention of bringing a spear to the hog fight. I imagine the dogs about wore this big bastard out. Still in all- those kids are tough. There’s hope for us all yet.

I worked with a guy that rode up on horse back & hog tied them or stabbed them. Had the coolest pig sticker too.

I grew up hog hunting on foot with strike and catch dogs. We stabbed them in the heart and only shot the handguns if we were being charged or a pig was killing dogs.
