A 1964 Smith and Wesson Model 30-1 3" with bubba hammer. 32 SW Long is a soft shooter. Sights are a pain in lower light due to eyesight issues I have. Now needs new springs.

Gotcha! A lighter trigger return spring works wonders on those. I've been looking for an old Model 30 to go with my old Colt Police Positive in 32. Nice find.

Actually for DA shooting, it’s the mainspring that needs the most attention.

A good smoothing/polishing of parts would help a lot, just don’t touch the single-action sears.

Congrats on a nice find, enjoy.

Nice pistol! I see what you mean about the sights. Then, it was probably not intended to be a tack driver.
