Ok momma put the hell naw on the 4k nonsense
I get 1600 after the first of the year
She called me crazy as hell some nonsense about bills and such

$1600 will get you a nice scope.
    Athlon Cronus BTR Gen 2
    Delta Stryker HD
Tract Toric HD, and a few others.
They are all made in Japan by LOW using the same scope body design, but each has different features per brand.

I have a Cronus and a Stryker. Athlon only offers a "Tree" style reticles, where Delta offers 3 different reticle choices and also has locking turrets.

Choose one with the reticle, and feature's that you like. For long range use, a Tree reticle comes in handy, but I prefer a less cluttered reticle on my scopes that I use for hunting like the Delta.

Didn't see it mentioned but, one of the best things you can do to guard against potentially buying a knock-off is buying from a reputable retailer like Mile High. To each their own but, I would almost never consider buying an optic from Amazon, Ebay, or any other large aggregator source like that. Too much potential for fakes.

Precision shooting is a THING! Good for you! I can't help you directly but if you don't find something (I haven't read all the comments yet)-pm me and I'll try to dig in. Also, Precision Shooting has it's own magazine, if you didn't already know.

Lastly, have to bust your chops just a wee bit on the "fellas" part :roflsmile: We chicas might know a thing or two!
(Seriously, I'm just kidding but it was too good to resist!)

LR308 is pretty good, my carbine does MOA @ 200 with cast. Use a Nikon high power ?x24 50 that is pretty good but not made anymore. Good steel mount is required. Don't have a place to try farther and too shakey to do that anyway. But save some money for primo ammo.

I guess the Army is stupid as well. Your words aged like fine wine.

Yes, Id say the Army is pretty damn stupid to spend $10,800 per unit for that optic, no matter who makes it.

If you're a Vortex fan boy, good for you. Other than the Razor HD series, most of their cheaper series are known to have issues.
I prefer to buy optics that I don't have to worry about breaking or not tracking correctly.

The best warranty is the one that you never need to use!
