I served at, Fort Bragg and 18th Airborne Corps (that's what the sign said as you entered post then) 1986-89..... drove my Commander to qualify with the new 9mm (he had been a Marine officer before becoming my company Commander and as I sat in the truck in the rain with truck running and heater on waiting, every time he came back between his times on range all he did was complain about this little piece of shit I want my 45 I can't hit shit I hate this piece of shit....not once did he complain about the rain or the cold!

I have one of these with adjustable sights and stippled grip, and slashed wood replacing plastic grips. Very nice shooter.
