Ha! You're right!National Coffee Day coincides with World Heart Day??
What he said.....Morning all...
I think @jrbfishn and I are in the same boat. I drink coffee all day right until I go to bed. If I'm working outside in the heat I will drink water but that's about the only time unless I feel especially dehydrated.I'm on my third espresso-strength mug. Isn't as extreme as it sounds: that's spread out over more than 3 and a half hours.
Coffee trivia: In the Jack Reacher series of books (now numbering 28 plus one collection of stories), Reacher drinks so much coffee that it seemingly replaces water in his diet. The author, Lee Child (real name James Grant), modeled Reacher's coffee habit after his own.
He's handing over the Reacher reins to his younger brother, Andrew. In an interview, when asked which of them consumed the most coffee, they both answered that it was Andrew. Hard to imagine that the future Reacher might drink even more coffee. The ability to metabolize and flush out caffeine must be a genetic thing.
I thought everyday was national coffee day.G'mornin', folks!
September 29 is National Coffee Day!
National Coffee Day
A beverage that makes the world go round! The aroma, the taste, the energy boost — a good cup of coffee can make every day a little brighter!www.daysoftheyear.com
Why do you say that? I use coffee to get my heart started in the morning. Makes sense to me.I guess the European-based World Heart Federation and whoever started (U.S.) National Coffee Day circa 2005 didn't really communicate very well.
The General could do it.Wait. Hang on. Do you have to jump that unfinished span of the bridge in order to pass the class?
Dukes!The General could do it.
