I don't get the erosion comment but no doubt given our locales, we see things from a different angle.

    Ok.
A goodly powered dirt bike will chew, or claw a trench with it's rear tire. Those small, trenches become serious gorges in a year's time out here.
We get a few mild drizzle days or some misting though the year.
Most of our rainfall is a deluge. Once a month from April through August. It finds these "trenches" and makes them wash out into ravines. Former cattle trails become gulleys. Cattle break legs and die.
    It's a regional thing.

    Morning fellas
Been a good but long week.
Spent the first half hunting down in Jim Hogg County. Got 2 nice doe, a yote and a pig..
Brought the quartered venison home been sitting on ice since Wed in my coolers so this morning I’ll be making burger.

Charlie you do you have your General? Just wondering because your call sign is shorter
I passed my exam for Technician , only missed one. So I took the General at the same time and failed but not by much, and I didn’t study for it
So I’m taking the General again in a few weeks

You can look up call signs on QRZ.com or go to the FCC ULS system.

At one time the different format of the call sign was indicative of license level but these days there are not enough call signs available to TrueType do that. While mine is a standard 2x3, I do hold an extra class. When I got my general I decided to keep my original callsign as it had a Texas flair to it.

Yes, I've had my general for 50 yrs. (+ or -). But I've not been active for quite a while.
