Finally had my torn quad tendon repaired this morning. I have to keep my leg straight with this kit of nuts and bolts for 6 weeks before I can start physical therapy.

Lucky you! Sorry to see that, and here I thought a torn illiotibial band sucked. You win. I am merles confined to a walker for 4 weeks, 2 more to go then physic torture

External Fixation sucks. After my sportbike injury I was in one for almost 3 months. Talk about boring, and also painfull when you hit the side of the bathtub with one of the rods. Watch out for that.

The storm that knocked out our electricity has passed. I just saw on Facebook that there are two more storm cells, one right behind the other, Heading our way. I doubt SWEPCO will send out a crew until they pass. May be hours yet.
