The time was so screwed up this morning, some clocks read 6:45 and some 7:45.

I saw the 7:45 first and said to myself.....self your an hour late in the donut run.

Saw my laptop time and flash on it's only 6:45 so I knew then that I was good to go.

Opening weekend is just about done. Most of the guys went home this morning. The rest are out there now hoping to see the muy grande; The rut is full on in the ArkLaTex. Goofy deer chasing and acting stupid. Easy pickings for spikes and does.
Time to kick back, sip the whisky and watch the cowboys snatch defeat out of the mouth of victory.

Yes, first light a young 6 point chasing 3 does, with a spike following up the rear. I took the biggest of the does, spike got nailed by the next guy down the line a few minutes later. Saw a 10 point later in the evening running WFO after a big doe.
