I know life is the smart/tech age but what an ordeal at the heb grocery store…
I’ve got their card I get cash back on, works like a debit card. So I’m at the checkout get them to load money onto it. Cashier doesn’t know how to do that. Manager helps, scans everything. Then I forget hey I have to wait 7 mins for the funds to transfer over. So the manager says they can suspend my ticket and wait. Ok cool…. Management says but we have to keep the cold items in their refrigerator until that time. Ok? Some policy bs. I’m waiting and my iPhone isn’t able to get a strong enough signal to see if the money transferred over. Finally it does, but now we have to track down the manager with the suspended ticket. Find him, after walking around. Have to then go to a self checkout to scan that ticket, go to pay and the system is just circling and thinking finally goes through. A total of 15 mins it takes for all this to happen. Sorry for all this text to read, but my god can get any more complicated??????
