So last year, Pickles and Libby carved pumpkins on the front porch. This spring, we realized what was sprouting in front of the porch and let nature take its course. And now...



Apparently we are pumpkin farmers. This is the first one, which struggled its way through August and September. As you can see from the blossoms in the background, the pumpkin vines are about to go nuts.

Finished the grandbaby's winter blanket tonight. Not my purtiest work, but I was improvising and hand stitching. But it should keep him warm, he is only 3 1/2 months old. I don't think he will care what it looks like. It is about 40"×48" unfolded. Give him some room to grow.
