    They started at the wrong end of the pyramid. Start at the top and layoff until the current income matches outgo. IE: Balanced Budget.


    Having experienced this with a few large companies, they want to trim the fat, so they can stay competitive in the market.

    So they cut back budgets, cut non-essential employees, reduce or cut bonuses and benefits, but the executives end getting bigger paychecks.

    Just about every large organization, or company, always starts at the bottom for layoffs. Never at the top. But you will never see one of those too execs getting their hands dirty and getting the work done.
