Kind of fed up with NRA. Looking for a different organization to join, specifically Gun Owners of America and Second Amendment Foundation. I could actually join both of these for what the NRA charges. I would appreciate any feedback y’all have.

I'm a life member of NRA, if I wasn't, I wouldn't be a member at all right now.

I am a member of GOA and FPC, and think those are worth supporting, especially GOA since they are specifically active in Texas.

I haven't been a member of TSRA since the '70s, but am considering joining for their Texas focus.

I have been a TSRA member for many years as well. GOA is high on my list. I’ll have to research FPC. Thanks

I am still an NRA member but I just recently joined the FPC and am considering GOA. The only reason I still support NRA is they provide financial assistance and grants to youth shooting organizations and work in partnership with 4H, SCTP, SASP, FFA, and ROTC. Earlier this year we received grants from them to purchase ammo and other equipment my daughter team uses for competitions and training. I just feel they need to be fixed rather than dissolved.

Unfortunately, many gun ranges and organizations require NRA membership.

Yep. 4H, FFA, and SCTP also encourages NRA membership and even certain events are sponsored by NRA. It is a revolving door and I wished GOA and others would follow suit. TSRA is starting to follow suit realizing youth shooting sports is growing.
