North Texas Area Ranges

I am trying to put together a list of North Texas Gun Ranges for my customers. I have a partial list and would like to know of any I missed. I am predominantly looking for ranges north of say Waxahachie and south of Red River. My customers seem to be from all over the DFW area. Can anyone add to my list or correct anything that might be inaccurate?

Good family environment. Located on I-35W in Keller

For indoor ranges you cannot beat Shoot Smart. Two locations; Alliance and Grand Prairie. The private lanes allow rapid fire, holster work, etc. They actually have a training program for the staff and instructors. Instructors can only teach to a level for which they have completed an instructor course and have demonstrated proficiency.

Members only, but the membership pricing is very fair. Also, no stupid daily rate in addition to the membership.
Allows FMJ and actual training with your weapon system. Drawing from holster, transitions, and rapid fire are allowed.

And while driving between Midlothian and Mansfield the other night I saw a new gun range on the East side of 287. Wasn't able to catch the name because it was just dark enough. Anyone been there?

Finally made to Fossil Pointe for pistol and rifle shooting. I really like this range! Got everything I'm looking for since pistol, rifle (ie: 50, 100 and 200 yards) plus trap, skeet, and clays. $16 for both pistol and rifle. $42 for 100 clays. I plan to return. Enjoying day at Fossil Pointe.

Not sure if you are still looking for places to shoot, but I recently came across http://www.texastactical.com/, everything from 5yds to 300 yds. We found it looking for a place to have my son's "bachelor party", 5 of us, about 20 different firearms and a great time was had by all.

I am a member at Armadillo Guns Nevada, TX Northeast of DFW a little off of Highway 78. 16 pistol lanes to 23+ yards, (they will let you shoot .22lr rifles on the pistol range). 10 rifle lanes, 5 @ 50yds and 5 @100yds. Veterans membership discount, very vet friendly. Normal Membership $25/yr and $15 to shoot. No steel core rounds. Lane sharing will get you a shooting discount. Firing lines are all in the shade. They do have a store there and their prices are OK, a little higher than if you shop around but NOT a ripoff. Rental guns available but you have to shoot their ammo in their guns. Which is how i would do it as well. Our local 4-H shooting sports club goes there once a month and they offer a special price for the large group and to promote the shooting sports. I like this range a lot. They will not let you shoot your Barrett .50 cal. but who would want to shoot that at only 100 yards? They are working hard to be good neighbors.

Could do a lot worse than at ETTS Just out of Waxahachie, 4 tac bays for rifle/ pistol/ shotgun. 4 pistol bays for pistol/ shotgun and a 1200yd range for rifle.
runs some comps down there, and were all friendly to this particular visitor.
I know the owner has got a whole load of work on trying to get more bays running too.
