Maybe they just love the game more than making crappy political gestures?
Maybe the owners and coaches told the players not to?

I'm just glad it didn't happen.

MLB is mainly American kids from American families OR Latin players from all regions, whether the Carribbean, Mexico, Central America, South American and even Cuba.

What I've seen is the Latin players love the US, its freedoms and what it offers compared to where they came from. Heard an interview with Elvis Andrus of the Rangers earlier in the year after he became a US citizen. He was ecstatic and proud about doing so and absolutely in love with the US and the American dream. He's from Venezuela so is well-versed in the dangers of socialism, actual oppression and actual violation of human rights, hence fully understands the greatness of actual freedom and the greatness of the US.

Other dipshit "woke" athletes in other sports know nothing about actual oppression and know nothing about what it's actually like not to be free. Case in point......when Kaepernick....a kid adopted by a white family and given every opportunity under the sun, going to college on a football scholarship, getting drafted into the NFL and making a mint....had his first press conference after kneeling for the Anthem and spoke of the "oppression" in the US he was fighting against, he was wearing a shirt with a picture of Castro.

Some fucking contradiction and the height of ignorance and/or hypocrisy. Says all that needs to be said.
