actually, for the last 2 weeks, they have been consistently getting ammo. I have walked in around 2PM and found .223 on the shelves a few times.
    When you start seeing popular ammunition continually in stock @ Bass Pro/Cabela's on a regular basis then you can suspect the shortage is easing. I was at both yesterday 0-9mm. 0 - 5.56, 0 - 7.62, 0 - .40, 0 - .45, 0 - .22

Basically if people stop buying from the scalping pieces of shit I've had blocked on here suddenly the shortage goes away because those fucks wont be at the store at 8 am every morning trying to screw everyone else.
Highly doubt it. If you think a few hundred/thousand people have the power to disrupt the supply chain, it's very unlikely. People just take advantage of it, that's all.

Yesterday and Today two different Academy stores in the area have had a glut of Monarch ammo. .223, 7.62x39, .308, 9mm and .45 ACP. I wonder if PPU and Barnaul managed to import some massive shipments finally?

My wife snagged 3 boxes of 9mm and I got a box of 9mm and two boxes of .45 AARP today. I was going to buy 3 of the 100 round packs of x39 until I saw the .45 and 9mm.

The x39 is running at $0.30/round, 9mm at $12.99/box for brass and AARP $19.99/box for brass. Higher than before but a helluva lot cheaper than the online scalping insanity.

If I could just find some .357 I'd be doing OK.

I'll check the academy in Georgetown but it's usually wiped out.

I know it's hard for you to get away during the day. I'd spot you some ammo at cost if you were closer and I will if you're ever in the area.

    Have you tried AmmoBuy?

I get quite a few alerts from them for both .357 and .38. Of course, the amount of alerts you get will be dependent upon the price point you set up, but it's one of the only place that I've gotten alerts from that aren't actually sold out if I catch the email quick enough.

I stopped off at Academy this morning and they had some 38 special, but saw the last box leaving in someone else's hand. Got a few boxes of 22 for the boys to shoot when the weather warms.
Found out that Academy is now opening at 7 am so you gotta get up early to beat the neckbeards.

what are you looking for? i can start buying you some and give it to you at the next meet up? :D

I have plenty of ammo but I like to buy more once in a while. I haven't fired a round since the last time I saw you and that's highly unusual for me. I've only fired a total of 70 rounds this year!

9mm under 25 cents per round and 5.56 under 30 cents per round. Do not pay more than that because I sure as shit would not.

The shortage could last 4 to 8 more years, or even longer. The left keeps breeding so we'll prolly never have "normal" again. From now on, nothing but leftists in power til the END.........

Found three 500 Rd Monarch spam cans of 223 at Academy so I got them. Later that evening I was returning a Vortex Diamond back scope 3x9 scope (by the way eye relief sucks) at another Academy and the stock person put some 800 rd 22 federal bricks and 7.62 520 rd spam cans on the shelf. Got my limit but scored well today
