Only small amounts of rain so far here in The Woodlands.
Wind is starting to blow a bit.

Was pretty much a non-event for us here. Had a few inches of rain and vegetation in disarray around the neighborhood. There's also a big trampoline sitting in the detention pond in the neighborhood. We didn't even lose power here.

    In the woods...
I'm just south of Lufkin and we haven't even gotten a decent rain, yet.
I have a fish camp on East Matagorda Bay and starting to hear a bit of news about minor damage there.
At this point is is only accessible by boat.
I've seen photos from the actual town of Matagorda and, while permanent structures prevailed, garage doors, carports, storage buildings, etc, did not fare so well.

We had only a couple dozen palm tree branches come down, and about a thousand pieces of tallow tree. One chair got blown off the upper deck but no damage anywhere except to banana trees blown over. There's occasional light mist and it's windy, but not bad. We had one small power blip, thank Heaven it was no worse. Nothing to do now but wait for the ground to dry some so I can get busy raking up branches and have a big bonfire.

My parents in Brazoria county said there were some trees blown down here and there in the neighborhood. They're without power.

I live in Fort Bend, not much rain but been without power since 2am.
