I'm looking for some recommendations on the nicer indoor ranges in the area, relatively speaking.

I'm looking for ranges along the lines of Texas Gun Experience, Legends, and Mission Ridge. It's not for me, it's for a buddy that's visiting from NJ. Money isn't an object.

And yes, it has to be indoor. Thanks in advance for any help.

Texas Gun Experience is one of the nicer ones I’ve been to.

They’ve got a private VIP lane with its own private lounge

Mission Ridge in San Antonio has what I believe to be the only indoor 100 yard range. They provided gun sleds for each lane at no additional costs and each lane had a touch screen pad to send and retrieve your target. I shot pistols and rifles at this location. They have ROs that are present but not overbearing.

Nardis has 3 locations. I have not shot there yet but I have been inside one of the locations to purchase ammo. I was impressed with the person that helped me as he was knowledgeable and polite. I received good service in my short interaction at the location. I will say it was “fancy” inside. The location reminded me of an upscale hunting lodge.

The last indoor range I went to is below. Please note that it has been close to, if not more than, twenty years since I walked through the door. At the time, it was friendly and comfortable enough. Not many lanes, but both rifle and handgun were available.

I would say Frisco Gun Club is one of the nicer ones

Lake Highlands Shooting Center is just fine but certainly nothing fancy

The nicest indoor range I've been to is Shoot Point Blank. The others I have been to in the Houston area have all been horrible when it comes to any type of sound control. Shoot point blank has their lanes lined with a 3" thick sound control material. It's makes a big difference when indoors.

Boyerts was decent in Katy but I haven't been since before COVID. Boyerts had a free lane on certain day if you wore their tshirts.
