Last year a couple of the guys I hunt with both had the Sig Cross in .308. Both loved it, and it seemed to shoot pretty well. I had been wanting a good .308 bolt action hunting rifle, and since I’ve picked up a supressor, the 16” barrel and folding stock really appealed to me, so I’ve been looking off and on at picking one up. Got serious about it last week and started reading reviews online and watching YouTube videos. I’m seeing a lot of the same issues with them being picky with ammo. I handload my own ammo, but I always like to find a factory load that the rifle likes. Now I’m kinda leaning more towards a Christiansen Arms MPR. Both the Sig and the Christian are lightweight, have the folding stock, and have a 16” barrel (Christiansen has the carbon wrapped). Any of y’all have experience or feedback on either of those rifles?
