I finally decided to make the move to Collin County after traveling in and out of the area the past 4 years. Coming from California and dealing with the ridiculous amount of gun laws (from Calguns forums also!), it's a relief to see the opposite side of a gun friendly state. Rather, the restless amount of regulations in California left me paranoid that Texas gun laws are too good to be true. Guns weren't my primary reason for leaving California, rather it was the pandemic and how it destroyed my wife's small business. The shutdown and loss of business was the final straw and I moved to Collin County several months ago.
Anyways, I'm happy to be here.
