No, not a spaniel but a spring-piston barrel cocker from Spain, made by Cometa. This manufacturer has a much better reputation than Norica or Gamo, and has built air rifles for RWS/Diana.
This compact Fenix 400 USC Premier is giving me one-hole groups at 12 yards with the pellets it likes. Great trigger, a moderator that actually reduces noise and it comes in around 7 pounds, without scope -- and for less than $400. What's not to like? One of the guys at Airgun Nation imported a pallet of them as there is no one in the U.S. who carries them, for some reason. He is at keystoneairguns.com if anyone is curious. I'm so happy with this one in .177 that I have ordered one in .25. Should be here end of next week.

I have had a number of them over the years including Beemans, Weihrauchs, BSA's, Dianas and some of the Xisicos from China and this is my favorite by far. The package is just so handy and well balanced.

Really like my muscle building Gamo .22 break barrel.
I got to spend some time with a Gamo side-lever rifle many years ago. Fell in love with it but couldn't justify the expense. Years later, that model had become famous for premature seal problems so I guess I can congratulate myself on my foresight. :)

When I buy a new air gun, one of the first things I do is get a complete set of replacemnt o rings.

It is not a matter of if it will leak.
That is also one of the reasons that when researching a new air gun, the number of o rings is one of the factors in my decision making.

AirForce Talon P (my first quality PC) 4 o rings.
RTI Prophet (PCP #2) 19 o rings in the kit I bought.

FX Maverick (The one I decided against) 42 o rings

BTW, this is not a knock on FX air guns. They are among the best available, but they are, to me, unecessarily complex, and I prefer simple.
