    Yep. But a 9-shot 22WMR changes the game!

    I just looked it up in the MSRP is $320.

    That's pricey for a zinc alloy, IMHO - given that Heritage offers the RoughRider at about half that.

    Ruger needs to add a 22WMR cylinder to the Wrangler and be done with it.

    For me, a good trail/hiking revolver in 22WMR is borderline sufficient when used as an RV or tent-camping companion.

    I've carried a Single Six on many canoe and camping trips and used the LR cylinder for squirrels and rabbits and switched over to the WMR cylinder before crawling in my sleeping bag.

    Colt New Frontier with .22 WMR cylinder does the trick.
