I use to moutain bike a little when I lived in NM. I was in much better shape back then. A few ankle and knee injuries, combined with adding kids and going back to school really limited my fitness. I probably gained 50 lbs over the past 15 years.

I decided getting back into bike riding would probably be the best choice since it's less harsh on my injuries.

After much research and dealing with limited in stock options, I ended up with a Trek roscoe 7 2023. Quite a step up from my last bike, a trek 820.

Well that was much a longer post than intended.

Looking forward to getting in better shape and enjoying biking.

Nice! I enjoy my active lifestyle but never really got into biking.
I will say it has worked wonders for my friends when it comes to losing weight.

Have fun and enjoy your new fitness journey!

Now that I've started riding my youngest son finally decided he wanted to learn to ride a bike. He had no interest before. He preferred his scooter. Now we ride bikes to and from school everyday. We also ride a little in the afternoon and weekend.

When on my own I have been riding some trails behind the neighborhood. I usually go about 5 miles. It's a start
