Bought a Cricket fir mine. Pink synthetic and black synthetic. They can shoot it sooner than many of the ones listed.

Got my son a crickett at 5 years old. He still likes it at 9 yrs.

I have a marlin 60 and a Tippmann arms AR in .22lr. Love them both. I grew up shooting a marlin 60 and my dad still has it and it still runs flawlessly. As does mine. Lever action is fun as well. Congratulations on the twins.

I’ve decided the Savage Rascal is the one. I think it will be a great starter rifle . And price is not too bad. I can’t believe I forgot about Henry rifles. But those will come later. Thanks for all of the recommendations. Great responses.

Ruger 10/22 or Marlin 60.......................better yet if you can afford and find them........Winchester 1906 pump. That was my first and most treasured gun.
