New .22 bolt action

so, i was wandering aropund a sporting goods store here in town, looking fro dehydrated food and some mess kits, when i had the feeling i was being watched.

it was very strange.

so i moved ot a diffrent section, and started checking out the boots. ofcourse they didnt have any in size 15 clown, and iw as abotut o go look at tents, when that same feeling swept over me. i whirled around only to see -- nothing. but i was sure i was being followed.

after checking out the fishing poles, and looking at some knives, i finally got too creeped out and decided it was time to leave.

on my way home, i noticed my wallet was int he opposite hip pocket than i had put it in before i left the house. puzzled, i took it out and realized it was missing jsut shy of 150 bucks!

what the hell?!?

the feeling was back.
whoever or whatever had been follwoing me was int he back seat.
my heart started pounding, and when i cautiously looked behind me.........


There was a new mossberg .22 bolt action with realtree stock, and a ten round magazine staring back at me!

how the hell did that happen?!


now i knwo what you guys mean when you say your new gun followed you home...
i ahve to say, when you arent expecting it, it can be a bit unsetling

the thing handles like a BB gun! so light, and the rear sights loked familiar... then i realized they are the dovetail sights off my powerline 880 pellet rifle!
hooded front sight too.

got some subsonic (1000 fps) and some super colibri (600 fps) to put through it and not alert the neighbors.

Honestly? A muzzle break for a .22? I have also seen a 12 gauge with a muzzle break by Mossberg. Looked bad a**, but useless weight. Even when hunting Squirrel every ounce counts.

What you probably saw on the Mossberg shotgun, particluarly if it was a tactical model, was a breaching device....used with special loads to blow door hinges and locks.

hehe nah .22 lr is easy to find, but i am getting some subsonics and primer only super colibri for varmints and plinking.

I saw one of those at the toy store a couple weeks ago. I had no idea it was factory! I assumed some guy with neon lights on his car had decided to dress up his shotgun, too... It might be useful for shooting slugs, but still seems pretty silly.
